A message from Seer Turgon:

Hail all!

Some of you might have stumbled over that new orc outpost in Moonglow by now. Last week I told you, that the reason for the orcs sudden appearance and where they are coming from is completely unknown. There is some quite disturbing news now, which I want to share with you.

You all know the orc caves in the mountains west of Lakeshire. First it was only the small one behind the undead-settling. Then the old passage further north of it was re-discovered - leading us to a much bigger cave swarming with orcs. The only other way out of this one brings us to Trammel, right into a small valley full of daemons (and one single house of a very death-prone Necromancer). There is no other way out of the valley than back into the dungeon, as the passage to the east is blocked by a rock-slide. And the orcs don't seem to be interested in going that way at all.

In both orc caves there are extensive works going on: scaffolding and mining everywhere. So what are those green devil's plans? And is there a connection with the orcs which so suddenly sprung up in Moonglow?

Well, after doing some investigations into this over the weekend, I am quite sure that the orcs in Moonglow are of the same tribe as the ones in Lakeshire. How then, you might ask, did they get to Trammel? And why to Moonglow.

My theory is thus: Minax has been irritatingly quiet lately, the daemons' influence in Moonglow is dwindling after they were defeated in Bucc's Den, which cut their supplies off. The spiders are still lying down. I reckon the orcs see their chance to fill this vacuum of power and are trying to make their mark before somebody else does.

There must be a connection between Lakeshire and Moonglow, and I can only beg you to go and find it, destroy it if possible and this way prevent that the orcs fall into our backs in Trammel! We seem to have a new enemy, and from past experiences it is one that we shouldn't underestimate!

Yours worried
Turgon

A message from Seer Turgon:

Hail folks!

You haven't heard much of me here lately, in fact nothing for the past months. But this  is going to change now.

As a start to a planned series of more or less frequent reports from Mongbatica, I want to tell you about some goings-on in Moonglow.

First of all, the town itself is still beleaguered by those nasty daemons and other foul monsters and the only change is that the humans' little shop has moved into the old healers building. I think, we all have some more tidying-up to do there!

What's new though is of course, that you can now rent apartments just west of the  former bank building. Dahak has told you about this already.

There is a new outpost of orcs half-way between the old healers and the former library. What they are doing here now, nobody knows. And frankly, I don't want to know either. But I am sure it's not to the betterment of Mongbatica. I think we should get rid of them.

Some brave citizens have already started to re-build their old homes in the southern parts of the island, while new settlers have started to add to this development. Two farms have been re-established and since there is no tavern or inn on Moonglow yet, the master of The Old Farm House is granting asylum for everybody being stuck now. I heard that the returned Moonglowers want to build some sort of defence against the monsters in and around town, so they seem to be determined to regain their old homes ... if only in parts.

There have been rumours about some new spiders-mischief on the island. What this is about remains to be seen ...

This is it for now. I will be seeing you around.

Yours
Turgon

A message from Tasia Liscia:

I I would like to announce that Tasia Lisica is now a Grand Master Blacksmith and is more than willing to create armor for anyone wanting it. I will leave a book on my doorstep and set up a vendor for requests since I don't know what everyone wants/needs. I have ore of nearly every color, though if you want an Obsidian or Crystal suit, I don't have enough of either to make anything and I can't work Cobalt or Coal even if I had ingots. My house is the sandstone tower next to the Guard House in Lakeshire.

Thanks!

A message from Seer Turgon:

 Dear Mongbats and Humans,
some of you might have seen me around the last couple of days as I was trying to help Lady Larni, our ever so skillful Ranger, to prepare for  the Festival of Harvest. Well, the market is up, the Festival Hall decorated (two small mongbat thumbs up for that Larni!) and the lovely town of Lakeshire is tidy and festive. Only the rat catchers have some more work to do ...

I want to take this occasion to thank Lord Dahak for providing us with a new moongate to the Cave of Mongbats, which is already installed and will start working after the festival. I am sure, this will help us all to understand each other better. I am sure that trade between mongbats and humans will get a boost from this as well. I heard, that my brother Sean II is preparing a mongbat shop in Lakeshire.

Just two things I want us to remember: dear humans, please be friendly to  the citizens of the Cave of Mongbats. We are small and fragile people, so I beg you to watch your steps. And fellow mongbats, pay attention when crossing a human road and don't leave any droppings!

I see a brighter future for us all.

Yours
Turgon

A message from Sean II
To further the well meaning and understanding between mongbats and humans, the up-and-coming mongbat crafter Sean II has acquired a small house in Lakeshire and is proud to announce that he will open his shop for the event of the Festival of Harvest. Even though the variety of wares will be limited for the beginning, Sean II will work hard to be able to soon give the citizens of Lakeshire a wide range of goods. Please note that Sean II does not speak Human.
